Spark whole-team quality engagement with GenAI and LLMs

105-minute Workshop

On today's delivery teams, many are excited about using GenAI - for design, coding, testing and more. Let's use the excitement to work together and help the whole team own quality.

Timetable

10:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Thursday 19th

Room

Room D5+D6 - Track 8: Workshops

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Collaboration & Communication Test Automation

Audience

Testers, quality engineers and others wanting to engage the whole team to build quality in

Required

Laptops are completely optional, no AI experience required

Key-Learnings

  • Ways to use GenAI agents and automation to invite all roles into testing work — by making the interesting parts visible and the boring parts invisible
  • Downsides to avoid while using AI assistants and agents, such as too much information, confusion, security and ethical hazards
  • Opportunities for collaboration on building quality into our products

Share and brainstorm ideas and experiments on using GenAI, including LLMs and agents to encourage collaboration across all specialties, including testing, coding, design, product, DevOps and more.

Teams and organizations perform best when the whole team owns quality. Bringing diverse skill sets together to build a testing strategy and perform testing activities produces the best quality outcomes - and team joy!

Yet in many organizations, getting the whole team to care about quality is hard. Not because people don't want to, but because the work rarely feels like it belongs to everyone. Testing stays in one corner, development in another, and despite all the agile ceremonies, the silos quietly persist.

Here's an opportunity: For many teams, adopting GenAI has piqued everyone's curiosity. Developers, testers, designers, POs, everyone is experimenting with agents and LLMs. In this workshop, we will explore how to get people in different roles to experiment together, to build quality in.

You'll get a chance to share any ways that you have used LLMs, QE agents and other GenAI technology to collaborate on testing activities. In small groups, you'll brainstorm new experiments to get developers and others working together to build quality in. What does good collaboration look like when an AI agent is doing the heavy lifting? Where do the risks live — and how do you stay thoughtful without slowing down? We'll practice what we teach by getting everyone involved in an ensemble testing session, using LLM agents.

No AI expertise required. Just bring your curiosity, your team frustrations, and — if you have tools you're already using — your laptop.
