Do you have special rates?
We offer Super Early Bird (SEB) prices from January until the end of April (Week 18), followed by the Early Bird (EB) prices, available until the beginning of September (Week 36). Attendees who have attended the Agile Testing Days in previous years are eligible for the “Alumni” registration.
Do you offer group or student discounts?
We also offer special prices to students and groups (please see below).
Groups are eligible for a group discount (depending on the number of persons, number of days and time of booking). We also offer special rates for students. Please get in touch before you register online: email@example.com.
How can I pay for my registration?
Our preferred payment option is bank transfer. After your online registration, we will issue an invoice and send it to you by postal service (Germany) or by email (outside Germany). You have usually 4 (four) weeks time to settle the invoice. If you have questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I also pay my registration by credit card?
Yes, in case you want to pay by credit card, you will need to fill out the credit card authorization form first, which you will receive upon request via email to email@example.com. Please send the completed form by fax only. Never submit any photocopies of credit cards or credit card details by email. The fax number is +49 30 7476 28-99.
When is the registration deadline?
The registration will be open until the last day of the conference. The earlier you book your ticket, the more you’ll save.
I accidentally made a mistake in my registration, what shall I do?

I registered, but I would like to add/cancel events/days to my registration. How can I do that?
Please send us an email to email@example.com and let us know what needs to be changed.
Is it possible to cancel my registration and get a refund?
Yes, you can cancel your registration with no fee charged up to 60 days prior to the event.
If a cancellation arrives up to 15 days prior to the event payment of 50 % of the conference fee becomes due.
A payment of 100 % of the conference fee becomes due for registrations canceled less than 15 days before the event.

But before you cancel, check with your colleagues/managers if one of them can join instead.
I won’t be able to attend myself, can someone else use my ticket?
It is possible to transfer your ticket to someone else at no costs. Therefore, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
and provide the new name and email address so we can issue a new and valid ticket.
Can you recommend somewhere to stay?
We recommend staying at the conference hotel (Dorint Sanssouci) as this is the easiest for you.
We have a special rate for our ATD attendees (single room for 99 € per night, including breakfast,
sauna, and swimming pool). Make sure you mention “Agile Testing Days” when you book by telephone.

I booked a certain tutorial but would like to visit another instead. Is this possible?
As soon as you realize this, please get in touch at email@example.com!
The tutorial presenters get updated with the number of attendees for their workshop and arrange it accordingly.
The sooner they know there is a change in the attendee numbers, the better they are able to edit the planned group exercises etc.
How do I get to the conference venue?

Will there be free WiFi?
Yes, there will be free WiFi in the hotel.
Are all talks/sessions in English?
Yes, even 90% of all hallway conversations are in English.
Do I need a laptop?
Not in general, but some workshops may require a laptop or similar. If that is the case, you will find an indication within the online program.
Please check the sessions you are interested in if these require any devices. For note taking there will be pens and paper available.
Will be slides and videos available after the conference?
The speakers are able to upload their presentations already during the conference. After the conference, there will be a reminder again to
all speakers to provide their presentations. All conference attendees will be able to download the available presentations from the online program.
Please note, that not all speakers can or want to share their slides. Some will officially share a link to their slides on twitter or facebook.
Can I visit all talks and workshops as I want, or do I need to pre-register/sign-up for each session?
There is no pre-registration for any of the conference sessions. We also won’t know in advance which sessions will draw the most attention and which won’t.
To avoid disappointment, make sure you visit the applicable room of your preferred session as early as possible. Once the room is full,
no further people are allowed due to security reasons. We recommended that you put together your desired sessions in advance and make sure you know your way
to it. Also, plan for some breaks, the input will be intense!
Are all social evening activities included in the ticket fee/price?
Yes, they are and we highly recommend to join us for them. The evening events are a great opportunity to network and to make new contacts and friends while having fun.
When I book the full conference ticket, do I need to check in every morning?
You only need to check in with us on the first day of your attendance. However, you will need to wear your badges at all days and times.
Costume/MIATPP Award Night - is it necessary to wear a costume?
Of course not, but it is way more fun if many people dress up. It is always a great evening and people enjoy it a lot.
Plus, the best costumes get awarded free tickets for next year’s edition.
Staffed registration and information table
The registration desk will remain open throughout the day. This is the best point of contact for speaking with an AgileTD staff member
who can help you with questions, resolve problems, and take feedback. This is the best place to report a Code of Conduct violation on
the day, as it can be immediately escalated to the designated code of conduct staff member. At least one of these staff members will be
first aid trained and can provide assistance for any non-emergency medical issues.
In the event of an emergency fire, ambulance or police, dial 112 and follow instruction from the phone operator.
What does it mean that the event is climate neutral?
To compensate the CO2 emissions resulting from our 6-day event, we have 695 trees planted in Yucatan/Mexico. Those are equivalent to the emissions resulting from: the food/drinks including preparations/servings, the hotel nights, heat, power and printed materials. Arrival to and departure from the event is not included. If you are interested in getting your travels compensated, feel free to reach out to www.plant-for-the-planet.org.
Contacting us prior to the event if you have any specific requirements would be great for us! We’ll try very hard to accommodate requests,
but may require extra time and planning, so please get in touch as early as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is transit to the venue accessible?
Public transit is usually easily accessible and the venue is in close proximity to public transport. Potsdam main station provides lift and level access.

We also help to communicate with accessible shuttles services or wheelchair-accessible taxis upon request for attendees with disabilities or limited mobility to ensure safe transport to and from the
conference venue. If you have other access needs, please register for the conference and indicate your access needs in the registration form or write us

Is the venue accessible?
Conference spaces within the hotel venue are wheelchair accessible throughout. There is 1 (one) gender neutral wheelchair accessible restroom
throughout the venue, as well as 4 elevators. The hotel’s accessible entrance provides direct access to the main floor, lobby, or elevators.
The Dorint hotel provides lift and level access on all floors. The hotel offers 1 (one) 26 sqm wheelchair accessible bedroom with bathroom.
The hotel also provides adequate parking spots for people with disabilities or limited mobility in front of and at the hotel’s underground car park.
However, not all areas of the hotel are accessible to people with disabilities.
Are there restrooms that are fully accessible (including a wheelchair-accessible restroom stall)?
Yes, there is 1 (one) gender neutral wheelchair-accessible restroom situated on the ground floor near the registration desk.
Are all main areas and session rooms on an accessible path of travel?
All workshops, talks and social activities are on the ground floor of the venue and easily accessible for attendees with disabilities. Main areas and session
rooms are near main paths of travel, and not out-of-the-way. Pathways are fully accessible, including being wide enough with wide enough doors and free of
stairs or excessive bumpiness. We also use signage to direct attendees. There are also volunteers available to help.
Does the conference offer live-captioning or deaf interpreter?
We provide live-captioning or deaf interpreters upon request. Please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you provide assistants for attendees with disabilities?
For the blind and visually impaired as well as for people with difficulty carrying materials around with them or if you need assistance navigating conference spaces,
please ask at the registration table. Our staff and volunteers would be happy to assist.
If I bring a trained personal attendant with me to the conference, what will be the procedure for their registration, participation, and payment?
If you require assistance and may need to bring a trained personal attendant with you, this attendant is allowed to access the conference for free. If you come with a personal attendant,
please let us know beforehand and send us an email to email@example.com.
Do you provide hearing loops for conference attendees?
We provide hearing loop facilities and headphones for those without hearing aids that require additional aid upon request.

Who is mainly responsible for helping manage accommodation and accessibility?
Regarding the conference venue, the AgileTD staff and volunteers are always happy to help and assist you. You can find us at the registration desk.

Is lunch provided at the conference days/tutorial day?
Yes, there will be a lunch buffet as well as various snack breaks throughout the days.
I am on a diet, I have allergies, will ATD provide adequate food?
There will be a great variety to meet all tastes and the food will have signs next to it to display what you see. The hotel will also be able to offer you
something different in case there is nothing there for you. If you are unsure, please contact us in advance or come see us at the registration desk during
the ATDs, we will make sure you won’t stay hungry.
I am vegetarian/vegan – will ATD serve vegan or veggie food?
We always offer a variety of vegetarian/vegan dishes. If you are unsure, please contact us in advance or come see us at the
registration desk during the ATDs, we will make sure you won’t stay hungry.
Do I need to pay for food?
The provided food and drinks are included in your ticket. You won’t have to pay for anything, unless you order
something extra in the Fritze Pub, LA Bar or Hotel Restaurant.
Are you looking for volunteers to help at the conference?
We are always looking for volunteers helping as track chairs or with other tasks throughout the conference. Volunteers get a free conference ticket for
all conference days and are expected to be on site for the whole event. Please get in touch if you’d like to join the volunteers' team at email@example.com.
Can I give a Lightning Talk?
Yes, of course, we are always happy about contributors. Our Lightning Talks are 7 minutes long. Please send us a request via email to
firstname.lastname@example.org. Please provide details like the name of your topic, a short abstract
of your talk and a picture of you (high resolution).
Can you provide an invitation letter?
Yes, of course. Please make sure to register early to not lose any time at the embassy. Please also send us an email with your details
(full name, passport number, date of issue and expiration date, and address) to email@example.com. As soon as you have paid the ticket
fee, we send out the invitation letter.
Can I get a Certificate of Attendance?
Yes, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Certificates of Attendance only get issued subsequent to the conference.
What is the AgileTD Code of Conduct?
It is our aim to provide a safe and friendly environment for everyone. We do not allow any harassment or discrimination of any kind.
