Willem is an enthusiastic practice lead at Sopra Steria and brings 12 years of testing experience to the table. He has worked in several domains varying from government to fintech. Besides being active in the field, he loves to connect with fellow testers at congresses. Willem was nominated for the EuroSTAR rising star award in '24 and '25. He has won an AutomationSTAR community award for best deep dive in '24 and scored the highest ranking deepdive in '25. Willem is active as part of the programme commitee for EuroSTAR '26. In his free time Willem loves board games, D&D, nature, theme parks and movies.
