Testing Tour: My journey of Pairing and Learning

Have you ever attended a conference and got so inspired by a talk that you wanted to immediately implement the learnings in your projects and life as well? I was. Back in 2019, I attended my first conference and I was totally inspired by the talks. There was one talk by Lisi Hocke about how pairing with others helped in building skill sets, increasing confidence and helped in becoming a better tester. Being a solo tester for over 4 years of my testing career, I never got a chance to pair with anyone. This is why I got inspired to start my own Testing Tour.

In this talk, I will share my journey of how I became a more skilled and confident tester through the power of testing tours. I will discuss how I collaborate with various testers across the globe and do simultaneous learning, exploration and pairing to get out of my comfort zone and learn new skills to become a great tester. I will share the lessons learned from this experience and how these can be applied to your daily testing projects.
