What´s new at AgileTD 2024

Our AgileTD team always tries to think of new exciting sessions or elements for our events. We discuss all evaluations we get and try to re-think existing concepts and discuss what is it that YOU really need to tackle your challenges and to grow, what provides the most value to you and your organization and how we can provide the best possible space for this with our event.

Thus, our AgileTD 2024 program will be a brand new experience for conference newcomers and also for returning guests. What will be new?

First of all, we have improved our Call for Papers selection process to make sure that only the best of the best topics and speakers will be selected. Speakers with outstanding speaking skills and strong messages to share will present at this year’s program full of top notch presentations. It has also always been important to us to empower new voices. There will hence be dedicated new voice sessions and all new voice speakers will be accompanied by a mentor to prepare them for a successful stage performance.

Another big renewal are our 4 new immersive Deep Dive tracks to cover the community trending topics: Test Automation, Accessibility, Artificial Intelligence, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery. The Deep Dive tracks will start with an introductory talk, followed by an expert talk and a hands-on workshop. We will round it up with a panel discussion combined with Q&A, followed by an Open Space session.
Walk in with your question marks, walk out with the tools and hands-on knowledge you need to succeed! The deep dive tracks will be created by the leading experts of that topic. They will be supported by thought leaders from the community to make sure the deep dive will be an unforgettable experience for you, spiced with the essentials to bring you to the next level and support you in your daily work and career.

Over time we have had more and more teams coming to our events. Besides learning and growing together as a team, this gives your team the advantage of being able to divide among the several tracks. If you want to make sure to not miss any shared knowledge you better join as a team and make sure that as many sessions as possible are covered with the attendance of your team members and/or that you mutually join the many hands-on workshops. The new highlight for teams in 2024 will be dedicated team coaching slots lead by our expert team coaches. These dedicated 45 minute slots will be part of the conference program this year and will be free of charge for your team. The first twelve teams that join with 6 or more people will be able to save one of the limited slots. We think this is a great chance for your team to discuss internal details, topics, problems in a private and safe space! 

Another new tweak in the 2024 program is wrapping up the conference with several Open Space formats. You have missed some topics, you want to dive even deeper in the deep dive topics, you need specific help with a certain problem, you want to learn more about something that got touched just briefly, you came with questions that stayed unanswered - welcome to the AgileTD open spaces - your chance to find the right answers to all your unanswered questions.

The AgileTD Online Pass, formerly known as Virtual Pass Add-on, will now be included in your on-site ticket booking! All live streamed talks and keynotes get recorded and will be available on-demand after the conference (except for the deep dive track talks). 

This year’s selected talks and workshops will have a focus on more hands-on related topics and knowledge sharing! We want to make sure that visiting the Agile Testing Days will be a worthy trip for you and your organization!
