Getting back to the roots and a deeper understanding of agile
Anyone interested in becoming more agile: in the truest sense!
“Yeah, we do agile – we have standups and a Jira board”
In stressful project situations and in tough work times, we can lose sight of what we were trying to achieve by being agile. Scrum and other frameworks are a great help and guidance, but it’s relatively easy to implement them and yet still not be agile at all.
In this workshop, we get back to the roots. What can an agile mindset look like and how can it be encouraged and practised? Instead of focusing on rituals and artefacts, or even the values or principles, we concentrate on three aspects that are critical to being agile in any context (not just in software): Value, Feedback and Individual Responsibility.
Through discussions and exercises, the group will work on these topics and take away understanding of what it means to have an agile mindset, as well as ways of encouraging and cultivating it in their own organisations.
