Evelien works as a Professional Knowledge Sharer at Xebia and is a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) with Scrum.org. She has been working in Agile environments for over 15 years, as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, and trainer, at organizations including Rabobank, Philips, Unilever, and Essent. She is also a certified Training from the Back of the Room (TBR) Trainer.
Her current focus sits at the intersection of Agile and AI. She trains teams to integrate AI into their ways of working and to recognize and address gender bias in AI systems, using her Four Ds Framework to examine where bias enters at the data, design, deployment, and decision-making stages.
She co-created the Road2Mastery training, the TBR Virtual Edition, and the Scrum Master Playbook, and organizes Women in Agile Europe.
