  • Life isn't fair ... and so the Great Dalmuti

Do you dream of becoming a queen or king and ruling over the conference? You can! For years, the card game "The Great Dalmuti" has been a hit at Agile Testing Days. It has been played in the bar, lobby and on agile games night. This game is wildly popular. Groups of enthusiastic ATD-ers play it late into the night. The players are always changing places and not only figuratively but also literally - you are frequently sitting on a different chair. Anyone who has participated once gets hooked.

The Great Dalmuti is a simple card game that you can learn in just a few minutes. But beware: life isn't fair ... and that includes The Great Dalmuti! In one round you can be the king or queen (called Dalmuti), in the next again a servant (whom we call peasants). Fight for the highest rank and crown yourself as The Great Dalmuti! If you manage to be the first to get rid of your cards, then you are The Great Dalmuti. However, if you finish last, then you will be the Greater Peasant of The Great Dalmuti in the next round and you must always collect, shuffle and deal all the cards.

This evening is for anyone who enjoys a fun card game. In different groups we will play The Great Dalmuti. Anyone who doesn't know it yet can watch the video beforehand to learn the rules. After 1 or 2 rounds, you will know how it works and can compete for the highest position in this fun game. During the evening we will play a tournament, where the best of each table will compete at the final table. Will you participate and possibly become the Greatest Great Dalmuti of ATD?
