As a graduate veterinarian, I was once the director of the Rio de Janeiro Zoo. However, I had to leave the career for family reasons, which led me to start working at home. As such, I dedicated myself to developing websites and I ended up failing in love with computers. Then I took a specialization course in System Analysis. But it was only when I took the Rational Certification on test that I actually realized how much I loved the thrill of discovering hidden defects. With time, I got more deeply involved with this discipline, performing different tasks in several companies, from being a tester, to automation expert, then leader and manager, until I finally decided to create my own company Specialized in software testing. By following this path further, I began to teach in post-graduate schools and write books on the same subject.
