keynote
I believe all 10 of us had a great time at the last conference. Most of us work in different teams and we were only merged into one big company around 12 months before the conference. So meeting each other from these different teams and areas built new bridges and showed me that we have a lot more in common than I thought. We might work differently in certain areas but I got the impression we all have very similar values.
I think it is great to have that shared experience as a point of reference. Something like: “let’s try that crazy thing we did in that workshop in Potsdam” or “...we learned about in that talk”. I think the inclusion of the virtual pass for this year is a very good idea. That way we will also be able to rewatch things that only one of us saw live or to refresh our own memories.
We arrived as individuals from the same company and left as a team. We all work in different areas and roles and some of us didn’t even know each other. That changed a lot during the event.
