Personally Julian prefers the description Diversity Ally. In that he refers not only to human beings, but also to companies that need someone to help them along in their journey to more diversity.
A late-bloomer, he came to DE&I via his psychology degree in his early thirties and has been working ever since to build workplaces that truly work for everyone.
Currently he is pondering the issue of how agility and user-centered design can be transferred from software development to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
In doing so, he tries to combine 10+ years of experience as requirements engineer and product owner with his passion: bringing more diversity to the IT industry.
