Johan Klintin is a passionate software quality professional with nearly 30 years of experience in testing and quality. He has worked with organizations of all sizes—from small development teams to large global enterprises—helping them improve not only their products, but also how they think about quality.
While testing has always been at the core of his work, Johan strongly believes that quality is not created by testing alone—it is shaped much earlier, in requirements, design, and decision-making. Over the years, he has focused on helping teams use experience, customer understanding, and enterprise thinking to prevent problems rather than just detect them.
Johan is an advocate for expanding the tester’s role from bug-finder to strategic contributor, influencing design, reducing risk, and improving customer satisfaction. He enjoys sharing practical insights and real-world experiences that help others recognize and show the true value of testing.
Outside of work, Johan is a championship-level barbecue enthusiast who enjoys combining heat, fire, and smoke to create great food.
