Dagmar Monett is a full Professor of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering) at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, HWR Berlin; Co-founder of the AGI Sentinel Initiative, AGISI.org; and an AI expert at Ms.AI, “Artificial Intelligence for and with Women.” She is an ACM professional member (ACM SIGAI, ACM SIGSOFT, ACM-W, ACM SIGCSE, and German Chapter of the ACM), board member of the Berlin Federation of Professors, and has served as invited speaker, session chair, author, and member of scientific committees at several AI (and non-AI) leading conferences and workshops. With over 30 years of research and teaching experience, her current research fields include AI, digital ethics, and computer science education. Her most recent work focuses on intelligence research, particularly on defining and understanding (machine) intelligence. She is also interested in machine learning, robotics in education, metaheuristics, and software engineering including Agile.
