Where and when does the Agile Testing Days Conference take place?
The Agile Testing Days conference will be held from November 19 to 22, 2024, in Potsdam, Germany, at the Hotel Dorint Sanssouci Berlin/Potsdam.
How much are the registration fees?

What kind of discount do you offer?
Super Early Bird: Save up to € 525 on your ticket with our Super Early Bird discount! Register on or before April 26th, 2024
Early Bird: Receive up to € 350 off the regular ticket prices by booking before September 15th, 2024.
Group Discount: Groups and teams of 3+ members are eligible for a group discount (depending on the number of persons and number of days). Find our group discounts here.
Student Discount: We also offer special rates for students. Please get in touch before you register via info@agiletestingdays.com.
Alumni Discount: Attendees who have attended the Agile Testing Days in 2017 or later are eligible for the “Alumni” discount. All you have to do is log in to your account and register.
Virtual Pass Alumni Discount: All Virtual Pass/Online Conference attendees from 2020 onward are eligible for the 'Alumni' discount for the onsite conference. Simply send an email before registering to receive the discount.
We do not offer Alumni Pricing for the Virtual/Online Pass.
What payment options do I have when buying a ticket?
Our payment options are credit card (via Stripe) or bank transfer. After your online registration, you will receive an invoice by email. You have 15 (fifteen) days to settle the invoice. If you have questions, please contact us.
When is the registration deadline?
The registration will be open until the last day of the conference. The earlier you book your ticket, the more you’ll save.
If you register within a week before the event, you need to make the payment via credit card and show your proof of payment at the conference registration desk.
I accidentally made a mistake in my registration. What should I do?

I registered, but I would like to add/cancel events/days to my registration. How can I do that?
Please send us an email to info@agiletestingdays.com and let us know what needs to be changed.
Do you offer group discounts?
Groups and teams are eligible for a discount (depending on the number of persons, number of days and time of booking). Find our group discounts here.
How does the team registration process work?
Please email us the number of people in your group and the days each person wants to attend. We then provide you with a special discount code for your team. Every team member needs to register online individually using that code.
What payment & invoicing methods are accepted for team registration?
This can be tailored to your needs: Single invoices, one per group, payment by credit card or wire transfer. Just email us your preference.
What happens if one colleague can not come to the event?
In case a team member can not make it, write us an email and we can change the ticket to another team member.
Can we add members to our team after initial registration?
Yes, email us. We will sort out the details for you.
Are there special accommodations or rates for teams at nearby hotels?
No, we don't provide any special accommodations for teams. We recommend booking discounted rooms in the venue of the event, as early as possible.
How can I cancel my ticket and can I get a refund?
Yes, you can cancel your registration with no fee charged up to 60 days prior to the event.
If a cancellation arrives up to 15 days prior to the event payment of 50 % of the conference fee becomes due. A payment of 100 % of the conference fee becomes due for registrations cancelled less than 15 days before the event. Please read our Terms and Conditions.
But before you cancel, check with your colleagues/managers if one of them can join instead. Should you have to cancel your registration, please contact us via info@agiletestingdays.com.
I won’t be able to attend myself, can someone else use my ticket?
It is possible to transfer your ticket to someone else at no cost. Therefore, please send us an email to info@agiletestingdays.com and provide the new name and email address so we can issue a new and valid ticket.
Where is the Agile Testing Days Conference taking place?
The Agile Testing Days Conference takes place in Potsdam, Germany, which is conveniently close to Berlin. The conference venue is located at the Dorint Sanssouci Berlin/Potsdam, situated at Jägerallee 20, 14469 Potsdam. This location is easily accessible by car, taxi, or public transportation, making it convenient for attendees to reach the event. Please check out our “How to get there” information available here.
Can I stay at the hotel of the conference location?
Yes, you can stay at the hotel of the conference location. You can book rooms at the Dorint Hotel at reduced rates, which have been reserved especially for our attendees, by calling the Hotel and mentioning the keyword 'Agile Testing Days'. For more information, please visit our location page.

Is there any special discount available for train tickets to Potsdam?
In cooperation with Deutsche Bahn, we offer special conditions to travel to our conference comfortably and environmentally friendly - with 100% electricity generated by renewable resources in long-distance travel, at a nationwide fixed price, from any DB railway station. These special conditions are valid for train travels within the area of Germany only!
Your train ticket is valid 2 days before and 2 days after the event, for a maximum of 14 days, and city tickets for the Berlin or Potsdam public transport connections are included as well.

Is the venue accessible to individuals with disabilities?
The Agile Testing Days conference is committed to offering a diverse, inclusive and accessible learning environment for all. Is parking available at your venue?
Yes, parking is available for a rate of € 25 per 24 hours. There are 200 parking spots available underneath the hotel, with a vertical clearance of 1.90 m.
There are 2 chargers for Electric cars available with € 30 per charge on top of the regular parking fees.
Can I buy a ticket directly at the venue?
Yes, you can buy a ticket at the conference via credit card. Please note that this depends on availability. Space is limited, so we recommend buying your ticket(s) as early as possible.
Will photos and videos be taken during the event?
Pictures and videos will be taken during the conference. This material will be used for marketing/sales purposes after the conference.
With buying a ticket, the attendees agree to the usage of any footage taken at the event (see 1st step in the registration)
If you do not want to be in any picture of video when you see our photographer or videographer, please let them know. Please refer to our terms and conditions.
Can I bring luggage to the Venue? Is there luggage storage?
There are no lockers available at the venue. However, hotel guests can leave their luggage with hotel registration before check-in or after check-out. Attendees staying at other places may drop off luggage on the day of check-in or check-out at the event registration. It will be stored in an extra room (at your own risk).
Will there be free WiFi?
Yes, there will be free WiFi in the hotel.
Are all sessions in English?
Yes, even 90% of all hallway conversations are in English.
When I book the full conference ticket, do I need to check in every morning?
You only need to check in with us on the first day of your attendance. However, you will need to wear your badges at all days and times.
Is transit to the venue accessible?
Public transit is usually easily accessible, and the venue is near a public transport stop. Potsdam main station provides lift and level access. Information on accessible transit by public transport from Potsdam main station can be found here.
We can provide the contact information of accessible shuttle services or wheelchair-accessible taxis upon request for attendees with disabilities or limited mobility to ensure safe transport to and from the conference venue.

Is the venue accessible?
Conference spaces within the hotel venue are wheelchair accessible throughout. There is 1 (one) gender-neutral wheelchair-accessible restroom throughout the venue, as well as 4 elevators. The hotel’s accessible entrance provides direct access to the main floor, lobby, or elevators.
The Dorint Hotel provides lift and level access on all floors. The hotel offers 1 (one) 26 sqm wheelchair-accessible bedroom with bathroom. The hotel also provides adequate parking spots for people with disabilities or limited mobility in front of and at the hotel’s underground car park. However, not all areas of the hotel are accessible to people with disabilities.
Are there restrooms that are fully accessible (including a wheelchair-accessible restroom stall)?
Yes, one gender-neutral wheelchair-accessible restroom is on the ground floor near the registration desk.
Are all main areas and session rooms on an accessible path of travel?
All workshops, talks, and social activities are on the venue’s ground floor and are easily accessible to attendees with disabilities. Main areas and session rooms are near the main paths of travel and not out of the way. Pathways are fully accessible, including being wide enough with wide enough doors and free of stairs or excessive bumpiness. We also use signage to direct attendees. Volunteers are also available to help.
Does the conference offer live captioning or a deaf interpreter?
We provide live-captioning or deaf interpreters upon request. Please get in touch with us at info@agiletestingdays.com.
Do you provide assistants for attendees with disabilities?
For the blind and visually impaired, people with difficulty carrying materials around with them, and those who need assistance navigating conference spaces, please ask at the registration table. Our staff and volunteers would be happy to help.
If I bring a trained personal attendant with me to the conference, what will be the procedure for their registration, participation, and payment?
If you require assistance and need to bring a trained personal attendant, this attendant can access the conference for free. If you come with a personal attendant, please let us know beforehand and email.
Do you provide hearing loops for conference attendees?
We provide hearing loop facilities and headphones for those without hearing aids who require additional aid upon request. Please mark if you require this on your ticket registration so we can prepare and arrange it in advance, or email us at info@agiletestingdays.com.
Who is mainly responsible for helping manage accommodation and accessibility?
The AgileTD staff and volunteers are always happy to help and assist you regarding the conference venue. You can find us at the registration desk. The main contact person is Uwe Gelfert (email: uwe.gelfert@trendig.com).
Do I need to pay for food?
The provided food and drinks are included in your ticket during the tutorial day and the conference days. You won’t have to pay for anything, unless you order something extra in the Fritze Pub, LA Bar or Hotel Restaurant. Please note that the Meet & Greet on Tuesday evening is at your own expense.
Is lunch provided at the conference days/tutorial day?
Yes, there will be lunch as well as various snack breaks throughout the days. From Tuesday till Thursday we also serve dinner for free. Any orders made in the hotel bars or bistro are not included for free.
Are beverages provided?
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., we serve various options of tea, coffee, water, juice, and soft drinks for free. After 7 p.m., we replace all hot drinks with beer but still serve water, juice, and soft drinks. Any beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) ordered in the hotel bars and bistro are not included for free.
Will vegetarian and vegan food options be available at the venue?
Yes, most meals will be vegetarian with fish, meat and sauces on the side. Vegan options will also be available for every meal. Our general focus is on providing healthy, regional and vegetarian options. Gluten Free diets can also be accommodated, please reach out to the organisers in advance.
I am on a diet, and I have allergies. Will AgileTD provide adequate food?
There will be a great variety to meet all tastes, and the food will have signs next to it to display what you see. The hotel will also be able to offer you something different in case there is nothing there for you. If you are unsure, please contact us in advance or come see us at the registration desk during the ATDs. We will make sure you won’t stay hungry.
What is the difference between a tutorial and a workshop?
A workshop is part of the consecutive program during the conference days and is included in the conference day ticket. Tutorials are conducted for a full day before the actual conference and need to be booked extra. See all ticket options here.
Can I visit all talks and workshops as I want, or do I need to pre-register/sign-up for each session?
There is no pre-registration for any of the conference sessions. We also won’t know in advance which sessions will draw the most attention and which won’t. To avoid disappointment, make sure you visit the applicable room of your preferred session as early as possible. Once the room is full, no further people are allowed due to security reasons. We recommended that you put together your desired sessions in advance and make sure you know your way to it. Also, plan for some breaks, the input will be intense!
Do I need to bring my laptop for the sessions?
Some sessions require a laptop (for example most workshops and tutorials). Please check upfront the details of the sessions you’d like to attend for further information.
Will there be a Q&A after the sessions?
All keynotes and talks are concluded with Q&A, depending on the time left until the next sessions. In most workshops the facilitator will be able to answer your questions as well, during or after the session. However, should any questions be left unanswered, please reach out to the speaker directly or post your questions in the dedicated Slack channel.
I booked a certain tutorial but would like to visit another instead. Is this possible?
As soon as you realise this, please get in touch at info@agiletestingdays.com! The tutorial presenters get updated with the number of attendees for their workshop and arrange it accordingly. The sooner they know there is a change in the attendee numbers, the better they are able to edit the planned team exercises etc.
Will slides be available after the conference?
The speakers are able to upload their presentations already during the conference. After the conference, there will be a reminder again to all speakers to provide their presentations. All conference attendees will be able to download the available presentations from the online program. Please note that not all speakers can or want to share their slides. Some will officially share a link to their slides on twitter or facebook.
Are all social evening activities included in the ticket fee/price?
Yes, they are and we highly recommend to join us for them. The evening events are a great opportunity to network and to make new contacts and friends while having fun.
Is it necessary to wear a costume for the Party?
Of course not, but it is way more fun if many people dress up. It is always a great evening and people enjoy it a lot. Plus, the best costumes get awarded free tickets for next year’s edition.
Do I have to sign up for the Deep Dive tracks?
No sign-up is needed. Just be in the session room as early as possible to save yourself a seat.
Can I participate in multiple Deep Dive tracks?
The program design will enable you to attend 2 of the 4 deep dive topics fully, but you need to decide which ones you want to attend. On conference day 1 the topics will be Accessibility and Test Automation. Conference Day 2 will host the topics AI and CI/CD.
Do I have to attend all of the sessions of the Deep Dive topic, or can I attend only a few?
This is totally up to you. It also depends on your level of knowledge on the topic. Please note though that you may miss out on the full experience if you leave early or hop in at a later stage. However, it also enables you to check out the 2 topics running in parallel (or other parallel sessions you might find interesting).
Can I attend with my team?
Of course, you can attend with your team. We suggest spreading among the different topics to take as much diverse knowledge back to work as possible!
Are you looking for volunteers to help at the conference?
We are always looking for volunteers helping as track chairs or with other tasks throughout the conference. Volunteers get a free conference ticket for all conference days and are expected to be on site for the whole event. Can you provide an invitation letter?
Yes, of course. Please register early so you don’t lose time in the visa process. After registering to Agile Testing Days, email us your details (full name, passport number, date of issue expiration date, and address) to info@agiletestingdays.com. We send out the invitation letter as soon as you have paid the ticket fee.
Can I get a Certificate of Attendance?
Yes, please email us at info@agiletestingdays.com. Certificates of Attendance are only issued after the conference.
What is the AgileTD Code of Conduct?
We aim to provide a safe and friendly environment for everyone. We do not allow harassment or discrimination of any kind. Anyone offending against this will be excluded from the event without a refund. Read our Code of Conduct.
