A.I. was a brute forced into our lives. We were not ready for it. One day we woke up and everyone around was talking about Chat GPT and we got sucked into it. Products that claimed to leverage A.I. to code and test were born faster than the gestation period to create a human baby.
If we crunch the timeline and see this event, it looks like A.I. brute forced itself on humanity. This brute force didn’t allow us to learn A.I. methodically and discover the usefulness of it.
Today, whether we like A.I. or not - we know our clients and employers will force it upon us and we will succumb to it to stay in a job, just like how we have succumbed to many things that appeared great when we saw it first time and then it became useless such as UI Automation.
Do we want to repeat the bad side of the history or the good side?
What if A.I. didn’t come in as a brute force but it gave us a heads-up and we had time to build block by block our ability to put it to good use. Without a methodical approach to learning - we are going to create another "new cool looking gadget that produces no value”.
In this talk that combines time travel to the past and future, Pradeep is going to share ways of unlearning A.I. and also share possible solutions to learn it methodically. This will lead to seeing a future different from how it is looking right now. Through this talk - an opportunity to unlearn A.I. presents itself to the audience and gives them ideas and opportunities to architect a new future with A.I.
