Chaos engineering is the discipline of experimenting on a system in order to build confidence in the system's capability to withstand turbulent conditions in production. System in chaos engineering refers to applications, processes around these as well as the humans running them.
Chaos day is a practice within the field of chaos engineering that improves system resilience by developing its people, processes, products and toolsets. Regardless of whether you are a seasoned Chaos Day organiser or a person just contemplating introducing such an event to your organisation, I believe that the learnings and improvements me and my colleagues introduced during the 3 years of organizing Chaos Days will prove valuable to you.
The biggest thing we learned - organizing such an event has not much to do with chaos! Structure, thorough preparation, board level support and of course fun is what drives the success of our Chaos Days.
Join this session and let’s tame the chaos together!
