Audience

Anyone and everyone who's my kind of crazy.

Key-Learnings

  • How to use GenAI not as a tool, but as a thinking partner.
  • The difference between “autocomplete on steroids” and actual co-creation.
  • How writing with AI mirrors software testing itself—full of ambiguity, iteration, and sudden clarity.

Lessons from The Last Book on Testing

What happens when a human partners with a machine to write a satirical fiction novel on testing? You get The Last Book on Testing—a deeply opinionated, occasionally poetic, and surprisingly collaborative experiment in using Generative AI as a creative partner.

I wrote the book in 2 months. It received either a 5-star rating (mostly) or a 1-star rating in its first month of release. In short, it was my dream come true, when it comes how I want people to perceive any of my work.

In this keynote, I’ll share what worked, what didn’t, and what surprised me. From prompting as dialogue to arguing with the AI (and occasionally losing), this talk explores how GenAI reshaped my writing process—not just faster, but weirder, bolder, more exploratory. We’ll unpack how AI challenged assumptions, exposed cognitive biases, and helped crystallize ideas that would’ve taken months of solitary grinding.
