A practical approach to use metrics in your context to guide your team's experiments and improve incrementally, based on the Accelerate State of DevOps research
Continuous improvement sounds good, but it can be really hard to do. Do your team's retrospectives end up with a long list of problems and not much action to address them? Do you feel like you're spending way too much time firefighting production issues and not enough time delivering new value? So many obstacles can block a team's quality journey.
In this workshop, you'll get to practice using the metrics from the DORA Google Cloud State of DevOps report to drive continuous improvement. You'll work in small groups using case studies derived from real teams to evaluate a team's DORA metrics, identify what needs improving, and design small experiments to promote that improvement. Your facilitators will share resources that your real-life teams can use to gather and track these metrics. You'll learn about additional types of metrics that can be used in similar ways.
