If you’re not using TDD (even though you're convinced it is useful!) for reasons that you can’t explain, then let us help you get started.
Developers, Testers interested in how Developers (can) test their code
One per Mob: Laptop, Java IDE with Unit Testing support
TDD is not a new topic. It’s generally regarded as good development hygiene. And yet, the question “do you practice it?” is too often met with a sheepish grin and a shake of the head. We’ve been there ourselves, and we feel that it’s something that’s well worth changing. In fact, we have been actively changing it for the past year, using Mob Programming and some basic ground rules to teach and practice TDD.
With Mob Programming as an instructional aid, we will learn from each other what TDD looks like “up close and personal”. The initial (and, in our experience, most difficult) stumbling blocks will be encountered and overcome. By the end of the session, you will have the tools to begin practicing (and/or supporting) TDD in your everyday work.
