Multiple studies have highlighted purpose to be an important component of motivated and engaged employees. Daniel Pink’s “Drive” and Lindsay McGregor and Neel Doshi‘s ”Primed to Perform“ suggest that purpose is a key motivator in individuals and organizations. However, this is not something that is clearly evident at workplaces. I’ve been working with multiple teams that were dysfunctional in their own ways and helped them build their purpose – their reason for existence – in the organization. I have witnessed that discovering their purpose has had a great impact on these teams, making them more engaged and ultimately leading to increased productivity.
In this hands-on workshop, you will explore different techniques to help you identify your purpose and that of your teams. I will use a mixture of reflective exercise and experience sharing to design your own purpose workshop to run with your teams.
By the end of the session, you will have a set of techniques to inspire you and your teams to be more engaged and motivated.
