A way to improve your communication

As Software Testers we are sometimes in an ungrateful situation. We are the bearer of the information, and we need to inform others about our findings, about issues with the software and other concerns. Quite often we find ourselves in a conflict with developers, managers and stakeholders because we are the bearer of bad news.

In this talk I would like to introduce you to the idea and the model of Nonviolent Communication and the way we jump to conclusions and actions in certain situations.

Especially as Testers, we are a kind of man in the middle. Therefore, we need to improve the way we communicate and try to avoid any conflict as good as possible to have a good standing within the team and the organisation.

If you want to learn more about it you are very welcome to this talk.
