Key-Learnings

  • We are all part of many systems and we need to start notice them to make our work more efficient.
  • Understand how to identify correlations within the system and differentiate them from causality.
  • Learn how to create causal loop diagrams to analyze different challenges and identify long-term quality improvements.

Understand systems thinking and apply it to your specific challenges

Tired of chasing quick fixes and constant firefighting? We were too - until systems thinking shifted how we saw our work. It helps you see how different parts of your system influence each other, so you can stop treating symptoms and start solving root causes.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll tackle the “Community Maze” simulation, navigating a system with hidden rules. You’ll see how small actions trigger unexpected ripple effects - just like in real-world software delivery.

We’ll debrief the experience and connect it to challenges you face. Then you’ll learn to create causal loop diagrams using simplified versions of your own projects. You’ll spot common system patterns and leave with a toolkit to map and shift behaviors in your environment.

You’ll walk away with new insights to help you to apply systems thinking in your daily work.
