The ATD Open Space is your chance to connect deeply with peers, explore pressing testing challenges, and co-create solutions in a dynamic, participant-driven environment. Unlike traditional conference sessions, Open Space empowers you to shape the agenda around topics that matter most to the community – whether you’re troubleshooting automation hurdles, reimagining team workflows, or debating emerging trends.
Why participate?
- Meet your people: Spark conversations with testers who share your passions. The Law of Two Feet ensures you engage only with sessions where you can contribute or learn, creating organic networking with aligned professionals.
- Solve real and specific problems: Bring your toughest, most specific questions and tackle your specific challenges with crowdsourced solutions in breakout groups - dive deeper than you could in any regular talk.
How it works:
- We’ll open by gathering everyone at the main stage, then invite participants to propose session topics on our agenda wall.
- Breakout groups self-organize around these topics, guided by Open Space’s core principle: “Whoever comes are the right people; whatever happens is the only thing that could have”.
- Throughout, you’re free to move between groups (like cross-pollinating “bumblebees”) or initiate new discussions as insights emerge.
Leave with contacts, answers, and even ideas you hadn’t considered to fuel your next steps.
Hosted by João Proença and Alex Schladebeck, this session embodies ATD’s community spirit!
