Key-Learning

  • Sharing actual testing experiences in the workplace with peers feels good.
  • A great group of supportive people, the 9 out of 10 testers show you how the test community helps, always.
  • Your pet peeves, annoyances and other frustrations are common, you are not alone.

We all have them but '9 out of 10 testers' discuss them openly.

We are Sanne, Shey, and Veerle. And we talk (read: rant) about various subjects around working life as software testers. We are a panel for hire and excel at creating an entertaining panel session tailor-made for your conference.

Our two best sessions on offer are: What do we call ourselves and why? Typical Discussion Content: What's wrong with 'tester', and why is 'test engineer' better? A baker doesn't call themselves a 'dough engineer', why do we need so many varied titles? What is test leadership? Typical Discussion Content: Do you need to be a 'manager' to become a leader? What does it mean to lead other testers? What makes a bad leader and how can you tell if you are one?

We have done these sessions as a podcast, webcast, live panel or discussion format such as the fishbowl structure before. We are all experienced facilitators as well as panellists. No matter the format, we aim for highly interactive and fun sessions. We can offer any topic that you can find on our youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7Dujxx8BED6hEzPkz6JqJA/featured
