I am originally a Java developer and instructor from the Philippines who came to the Netherlands by way of au pairship because my teaching job in the Philippines didn’t pay so much. I fell in love with the country and I decided to stay. I applied for an IT job and got accepted at a consultancy company. Two years later (2008), the recession broke, and I was forced to move to another company, XS4ALL Internet b.v., which I now work at.
My roots in development hail from the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) wherein a developer should not only be able to build software, but also design and test (unit/integration).
My work allows me to do both exploratory testing as well as automated testing. And I love doing both.
I am also a wife, a Mom to a wonderful little girl, a gamer, a Trekkie and a huge sci-fi and fantasy geek…
