Enabling Continuous Delivery

Visualizing from teams to customers

In this hands-on workshop, participants learn how to use visual techniques to plan and prioritize features, right-size stories, and optimize cycle time, delivering value frequently and consistently.

Business stakeholders often talk about “productivity” of software development teams. They want consistent, predictable “velocity” to help them plan the next quarter, the business roadmap.

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. And, there are principles and practices that lead teams to successfully deliver small chunks of value to customers frequently and consistently. In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn visual techniques that make the activities on the left side of the DevOps & continuous testing loop much more effective.

With hands-on group exercises, you’ll learn: How to use impact mapping to plan and prioritize features and break them into right-sized stories How to use example mapping to refine stories and build shared understanding across all roles in the team How to use a Kanban board to reduce cycle time and work effectively
