Working As A Distributed Testing Team
Not all testers are as involved with their teams as they would hope. Whether it is because of team dynamics, lack of confidence in testing, or exposure, these contributions are still important.
There are times where due to team dynamics, culture, and behavior, testers are left further out of the pipeline than would be expected on an agile team. Key information is left out of important planning meetings and quality contributions are not being heard. How does one function when they do not even have a seat at the table?
In this interactive workshop, I will work with participants to parse the good, the bad, and the ugly of running as a solo act on the outskirts of production teams. And through weekly retrospectives, unveil the impact and contributions often not understood when testing is distanced from development and production.
