The game of testing
Because great testing comes from outside your comfort zone
In the name and for the love of testing we will take it to the extreme* – we are aiming to create more than just a testing competition. Because we’re creative, enthusiastic and energetic we want to get testers out of their comfort zone.
The testing competition will challenge teams of 4 to test a software at first sight. The system under test and scope will be provided to teams during the competition. All you need to bring is your laptop installed with your favorite tools, sporty outfit and lots of enthusiasm.
The competition focuses on testing the provided application, under eXtreme circumstances. During the testing activities, the participants will have to pass difference challenges, be interrupted, defocused, disturbed but also get incentives. The contestants will also have the chance to purchase opportunities to sabotage** other teams or protect themselves from other challengers.
More, but not all, will be revealed during the competition day.
The team which successfully completes all the tasks and providing the best testing results, will be proud winner of the xTestathon trophy.
*We define as extreme, activities outside the boundaries of a testing day in the office.
**organizers accept sabotage ideas from fans.
