Power Over Burn-Out in the Digital Age with Epigenetics

Why we are not a victim of our circumstances

The new revolutionary science of epigenetics, which literally means “control over genetics”, is changing our understanding of how life is regulated. Environmental influences, including nutrition, burnout and stress, can alter genes without changing their basic design. The environment serves as a “service provider” that influences these genetic designs, turns them on or off, and is ultimately responsible for our health.

In today’s fast-moving digital world, we are inclined to do many tasks at the same time without paying attention to ourselves. This behavior can lead to burnout and related diseases.

Numerous studies have shown that epigenetic activities such as meditation, yoga and others have a health-promoting effect. Therefore, three simple mini meditation exercises are part of this talk. The application of these simple exercises is an important tool on the way out of burnout.

An epigenetic lifestyle consists of a balanced diet, exercise, positive mindset and a supportive social environment.
