The aim for this workshop is to get people from no or limited knowledge of Blockchain technology to a level of medium understanding. They do this by actually being a node in a blockchain network.

Buildup of the workshop:- introduction key concepts- playing the game including consensus, transactions and mining- discussion/ evaluation

This workshop contains of three parts:

1) Introduction in some key concepts of Blockchain technology, including a short demonstration/ theatre play of the downside of “a trusted 3th party”.

2) Being the Blockchain game where the participants create a working network and play a node in that network. We first start with coming to agreed consensus rules. Then we will fulfill correct transactions and finally we have to mine a block.

3) Last part is a discussion on the things that have been experienced: what are the pitfalls for blockchain technology, upsides and downsides and connecting some dots.

The aim for this workshop is to get people from no or limited knowledge of Blockchain technology to a level of medium understanding. They do this following the steps described above and by actually being a node in a network.
